Our client an Acton MA based semiconductor company is looking for a temporary to hire Product Manager to start as soon as possible. The client is looking for a detail oriented multitasker who can work independently and who comes with prior vendor negotiation experience. Intermediate computer skills are required with Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. The main job responsibilities for this newly created Product Manager position will include creating purchase orders in the system so that parts can be ordered through vendors, working with the vendors to help expedite shipped orders, getting status updates on shipments sent, building relationships with these vendors/suppliers so that preferential treatment is given to the company, conveying information given by the vendors and suppliers to the sales team in the field, helping to manage the inventory and dealing with price quoting issues that arise. Helping to pull data for quarterly reports and putting together presentations will also be components of the position.
