Position Description

Responsible for leading and coordinating all sales activity within the territory, for all industry sectors, by securing orders for Service & Repair, Spare Parts and New Equipment, for pump and associated equipment. The Sales Engineer is expected to maintain good business relations with the customer base but also develop and establish new customer relations for Pumps and associated equipment. The position requires regular travel and will report directly to the Sales Manager for KSA & Bahrain.

Position Requirements

• Extensive proven relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering Repairs and/or Sales. •Background in aftermarket development is preferred. •Demonstrated skills in communication, presentation and influencing. •Fluent working knowledge of the English language verbally and in writing. •Team-player, with well developed interpersonal skills. •Proven time management and organizational skills. •IT literate – MS Office, include Excel skills, Lotus Notes and computerized Sales systems. •Ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels within the business. •Commitment to implement best practices in Sales, and motivate others •Superior multitasking skills, able to manage multiple projects/accounts simultaneously •Ability and willingness to travel primarily throughout the area of responsibility is required


•Plan, implement and ensure the area sales plan is met or exceeded, •Develop and ensure Goals and Objectives are met or exceeded, and develop shortfalls through training and support •Meet annual financial and non-financial goals as agreed by management •Follow-up on overdue receivables. •Develop and maintain good contacts with the BU’s, aftermarket organization and ISG so customer needs are addressed swiftly. •Provide active support to Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives
