Duties and Responsibilities:

Day-to-day supervision of custodial, grounds, and maintenance employees within the Maintenance and Operations Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Central New Mexico Community College policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include hiring, on-boarding, training, assessing performance, coaching, mentoring, investigating misconduct, administering discipline, timesheet verification, and maintaining workplace safety.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED and certificate in related trade;


  • Five (5) years' directly related experience in facility maintenance trades, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC and/or general maintenance, or related discipline


  • Minimum of one (1) year in supervisor or lead capacity.

Employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a satisfactory background check.


  • Bilingual English and Spanish

  • Knowledge of management principles to include management of a diverse staff, labor relations, managing resources, budget and procurement principles

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
