We are looking for strong service oriented Detailerswho will be responsible for performing cleaning and refurbishing new and used vehicles in a timely and professional manner and provide exceptional service that willcreate lifetime customers.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Wash vehicle exteriors using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes.
Apply wax to auto body and wipe or buff surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine using cloth or buffing machine.
Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner.
Apply revitalizer and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
Clean engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime.
Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer.
Paint engine components and related parts using spray gun or aerosol can and masking material.
Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle.
Apply dyes and reconditioning chemical to vinyl tops of vehicle to restore color and condition
Other duties as assigned.
To qualify for this position:
Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper-based.
Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as patience and an eye for detail.
Ability to continually climb in and out of vehicles.
Must be able to use Inventory Control Software, Internet, Microsoft Office Products
Valid in-state driver's license.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Need ability to move around the dealership. The employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds. Work is performed at a desk in an office setting .
