**We are pleased to share that Michigan Medicine is working to secure a new lease at a local facility to provide Rheumatology Clinical and Infusion (non-oncology) services. This space currently houses a 3 physician practice and infusion center formally known as AA Rheumatology. The practice will be closing this summer and the physicians are in the process of joining Michigan Medicine as faculty. The site is located at 3145 W Clark Road, Ypsilanti Michigan.
This is a unique opportunity for Michigan Medicine to bring on 3 new providers and infusion space to handle incremental activity while we bridge the time need for the EAA expansion.
This is a Decentralized Float RN position which involves staffing assignments at multiple health center locations.
Locations: Variety of clinics including but not limited to: Taubman, East Ann Arbor and **Clark Rd Non-oncology Infusion Clinics.
Provide coordinated FLOAT nursing care to adult patients and their families in specialty settings at onsite and offsite locations.
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family; assesses the needs of the patient undergoing treatment; plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; and teaches patients and families.
As an Infusion RN, is accountable for the delivery of direct patient care including patient education and the management of infusions administration.
The RN administers injections, IV hydration and blood products.
The RN will be required to work in any of adult non-cancer infusion areas and may be moved throughout the day due to patient acuity and census.
Participate as a member of the collaborative health care team, to carry out clinical standards of care for various patient diagnoses and promote continuity of care. Provide nursing care and patient education as assigned to a diverse patient population in the previously listed clinics. Assist with a variety of procedures, maintain patient flow in clinic and support assistive staff as needed. Provide telephone triage and management, patient education, direct patient care with assessment, and documentation. Coordinate internal and external resources related to patient care. Candidate must be able to perform duties independently, be highly motivated and flexible in order to address the needs of patients, families and members of the health care team.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C (B INC) .
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level E.

Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
A minimum of three (3) years of RN experience.
Demonstrated competence with IV insertions and infusions.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills through use of the nursing process.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks, collaboratively problem-solve and delegate.

Reliable transportation to drive to varying clinic locations.

Experience with care coordination and managing complex patient populations.
Prior experience as a float nurse.
One year of RN experience caring for adult medicine patients in an ambulatory care (non-research based) or Emergency Department setting.
Proficiency with MiChart documentation and notifications.
Hours: 20 hours/week
Shift/Hours/Days: Day shift potential 4, 8 & 10 hr shifts, Monday-Friday, and Saturday based on clinic operational needs
Locations: Variety of clinics including but not limited to: Taubman, East Ann Arbor and Clark Rd Non-oncology Infusion Clinics.
Note: All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
