Title: Sales Manager-LightingID: req9630Type: Full Time Function: Selling Division: PT - PT Other Location: Ann Arbor, MI, United States (3990 Research Park Dr.) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Federal Mogul's Powertrain Division is looking for an OE Sales Manager that will be responsible for act as liaison between customers and F-M Engineering, F-M Manufacturing teams and will be the main F-M representative interacting with the Purchasing, Marketing, Engineering, and Quality functions at each customer. This person will become a valued member of our Lighting Sales team, where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who possesses a Bachelor's of Science in Bachelor's Degree Engineering or Business and proven professional experience in Sales. Having the ability to perform detailed customer presentations, and having the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects concurrently are both necessary qualifications for this position.We are ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. We pride ourselves on moving through processes quickly, and you can be sure of transparency and prompt communication throughout.RESPONSIBILITIES:•Develop key customer relationships for Lighting Products in the region, particularly automotive interior lighting applications, at both OEM and Tier 1 level.•Develop new accounts, markets, or product niches that allow the organization continued growth and profit.•Establish close contact with all relevant customers purchasing, engineering, quality and manufacturing personnel to gain their assistance in the maintenance of current business and development of new business.•Develop sales plan/forecast, long term strategic plan, and competitor information.•Travel will be required to support the customer and to support/develop new opportunities.•Lead the development of quotes and pricing in the region, and ensure that the commercial negotiations with the customers are in alignment with the strategies of the company.•Ensure that value propositions are current with customers in the region.REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business preferred.SKILLS EXPERIENCE:•5-8 years of relevant work experience.•Have the ability to perform detailed customer presentations, and have the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.•Have a proficient knowledge of internal and customer systems and how to use them to benefit the business.•Have the ability to evaluate the business issues and prioritize activities.Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation is a leading global supplier of original and aftermarket equipment for the automotive, aerospace, mining, marine and industrial markets.
