Responsibilities Req ID: 34131 Ultrasonography Competently utilizes Ultrasound equipment to perform routine and specialized Ultrasound procedures Demonstrates anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning, technique, and transducer selection Assists with interventional procedures as needed Completes the exam, necessary changes, and charges before leaving radiology Communication Technical/Clerical Professional/Education Follows the established safety and health measures Education Graduate of a school of Diagnostic Medicine Sonography with an Associate Degree or ARRT with 2 years full-time cross-training experience Qualification/Skills Experience 1 year of at least .5 equivalency Ultrasound experience within the last year Skills Ultrasound is a science combining advanced technology and human compassion This position requires a dependable personality with a mature and caring nature Fast paced specialty requires quick thinking and excellent understanding of human anatomy Must be competent handling sophisticated Ultrasound equipment, computer, image handling and patient monitoring equipment Ability to cross into other Radiology areas to perform in a support capacity to ensure continued patient flow and quality customer service Ability to communicate needs as to ensure continued patient flow and quality customer service Licensure/Certifications Required:ARDMS registered, Abdominal, vascular technology, vascular Physics I & II, Ultrasound Physics & instrumentation CPR Work Schedule Every Saturday 9am-2pm Location/Community Information Apple Valley is home to the Minnesota Zoo and Imax.
