Responsible forevaluating results for clinical significance and validity, exercisingindependent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision,and for recognition of atypical/abnormal results requiring additional followup. Ensures quality control is acceptable and instrumentation is functioningwithin defined tolerance limits. Actively participates in quality improvementactivities on an ongoing basis and complies with standard operatingprocedures.
