Manager will report to the Director of Johns Hopkins IT Engineering Services and is responsible for the Document Management team, including the OnBase application, AX and RightFax. This position managers a team of 10 people. The application is tightly integrated with Epic, and several other clinical/patient access system. The application is used to support clinical, patient access and revenue cycle functions.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Management and of 11 staff members enhancing and supporting OnBase, Application Extender, and RightFax.
Responsible for leading a team to a high level of Employee Engagement.
Leads the team in keeping the application and the system infrastructure current with system standards for performance, and security.
Responsible for serving a large base of users across Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Develops and manages project timelines and budgets.
Hires and managers staff.
Performs regularly scheduled employee appraisals and recommends salary actions.
Preferred Years of Experience and Skills
7 years of experience with computer systems and applications.
A minimum of 5 years of experience managing and planning projects.
Ability to command authority naturally.
Ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and management.
Able to quickly evaluate, and re-evaluate project priorities.
Experience managing all aspects of Electronic Document Management systems.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Strong project management skills.
Very strong technical expertise in web-based applications, thick client applications and applications with large storage environments.
Good knowledge of health care, clinical, and business operations.
