The Nurse Associate Summer Student Program is an eight week RN mentored program from June 2nd to July 25th, 2014. This program helps nursing students practice the skills they have already learned and to acquire new ones. In addition to hands-on opportunities, there will be classroom presentations and educational seminars.

Maryland CNA license

Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed; Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients


  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Nursing program

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Nursing Fundamentals completed

  • Minimum of one Med/Surg clinical rotation completed

  • CPR Required

  • AHA Healthcare Provider
