OD & T Specialist reports to Sr. Director of Human Resources and acts as consultant to client managers to assist in resolution of problems through organization development interventions and/or training. Partners with leadership to enable organizational alignment toward critical business objectives. Conducts leadership and general training sessions to assist in development of employees' skills and to increase effectiveness. Develops new organization development interventions and training programs to meet organizational needs as determined by needs assessment. Evaluates impact of interventions and training programs on accomplishment of departmental and organizational goals. High level of proficiency in adult education and training, data analysis, and group presentation generally acquired through three to five years' experience. Must be familiar with different approaches to staff and management development and various delivery systems. Must have experience designing, customizing, and delivering organization development interventions and training modules in a business setting.
JHCP Human Resources -Wyman Park - Baltimore, Maryland
Full Time (40 hours)
Knowledge of theory and practice of organization development, training and development, change management, organizational behavior, group development, adult and organizational learning, instructional design, and systems theory generally acquired through Master's level work in applied behavioral science or a closely related field is required.
Work requires three to five years of progressively responsible work-related experience to include group processes, intervention design and implementation, contract negotiation, needs assessment and analysis, training delivery and evaluation, and instructional design. Experience in staff, management, and organization development required.
