Join HP’s Business Objects Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) team. This position is for a BPC analyst/developer. This role requires supporting existing BPC applications, and migrating new ones on to the platform. This role will apply functional and technical integration knowledge of SAP ERP tools, planning/BI systems and functional planning processes. The analyst/developer will work with clients defining leading practices within the business planning cycles, including strategic, financial and operational planning. The analyst/developer will perform hands-on BPC Planning and BW design and configuration (reports, input schedules, script logic, allocations, distributions, etc). Successful candidate will participates as a member of development team, and perform basic analysis of functional requirements. Will perform coding and/or leverage service providers to provide code. Participate in code review, and prepares and executes Unit tests. Duties will also include resolving production issues and providing support for current platform.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

2 or more years of SAP BPC 10.0 and 10.1 knowledge, with experience in migrating BPC 10.0 to BPC 10.1. BPC certification is a plus. Experience of SAP BPC implementation with multiple full release cycles. Understanding of modern software development methodologies. Understanding of Software Test methodologies, and testing tools. General Project Management skills. Strong business analysis required. Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team.

Role and Responsibilities:

Maintain and support current BPC platform

Maintain and support EPM

Resolve issues and work with SAP if needed

Work as Analyst/Developer to complete the BPC 10.1 migration

Design and develop new dimensions in BW

Create test plans for any new development and changes

Take ownership of issues and coordinate with required teams to resolve it

Work on Tidal scheduler to resolve automated job issues

Provide weekly status report for completed and planned activities.


Bachelor’s degree (completed prior to start date) in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information systems, or related fields

Software programming knowledge of and/or experience with one or more of the following: independent code line over 20,000, Java, Java Script, C, C++, C#, VB.Net

Application development knowledge of and/or experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and experience with Linux shell script and Windows programming

Test engineering knowledge of and/or experience with QTP and/or LoadRunner testing tools

Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

Passion for technology

Eager, quick learner with strong team-work spirit

Excellent oral and written English communication skills


Prior internship experience

Leadership experience at university

Basic knowledge of mobile device development, application solution delivery, ERP (such as SAP), business intelligence, and testing service solutions

Basic knowledge of web development tools

Familiar with cloud application deployment methods

Able to perform in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
