Background of Global LTS Organization:
As part of the Centralized E2E Controllership model, Global LTS (Legal / Tax / Statutory) organization is being created. The vision is to create a centrally managed organization that delivers E2E LTS Services globally by migrating from geographically dispersed LTS (Legal, Tax, Statutory) support model to a Centralized and Centrally Managed model in Global and Regional Hub. The organization will have E2E Global Process leadership for Legal, Tax and Statutory support across the company. As the In-Country Controllership presence is reduced, the Global LTS hub provides E2E Controllership activities from the Global and Region Hubs.
As our LTS Practices Director in Bangalore, India, you will:
Report to our Head of Global LTS , and run the PMO (Project Management Office), playing a key role in coordinating the Overall LTS organization across our four Global LTS Centres.
Work closely with the LTS East, LTS West and North Asia Finance Director to provide an E2E view of Close Activities and will be the representing Global LTS in key projects, close and other important Forums with stakeholders within Controllership functions and within overall Finance Organization.
Provide a consolidated view of the Global LTS organization and lead horizontal processes like Balance Sheet and Country Finance Review, Disclosure and Contingency for the Countries where the Global LTS provides end to end support.
Manage the Statutory Audit Relationship by country with External Auditors for Country Level Statutory Audits and Statutory Account Filing.
Coordinate the activities in various Global LTS Centre, and play a key role in standardizing and streamlining the processes and oversee various ad-hoc programs.
Oversee and manage performance metrics which ensures and improves the quality of the LTS deliverables, given the geographical spread of the organization and the multifaceted nature of LTS work.
Manage the Transition, Training and Transformation of roles moving from Country Controllership to Global LTS organization, as the Global LTS organization continues to evolve.
Drive and move all the Company Wide LTS work into the Global LTS hub as the overall project director, working with East and West Controllership.
Contribute to the overall strategic definition of the function with strong business acumen as part of the Senior Leadership team within Global LTS and broader Controllership Function.
Act as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the LTS organization as it evolves.
The Global LTS organization will provide E2E leadership in the following areas across the region:
US GAAP Legal Entity Accounting
US GAAP Tax Provision
Statutory Financial Statements
Local and Global Tax Filings
Local Country Audit and Compliance Support
Tax Planning Support and Implementation.
Balance Sheet Review and Support Country Financial Reviews
Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:
First level university degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA / CPA/ ACA) and a MBA degree from a recognized University globally.
Typically 12+ years of experience in a finance function or exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of business.
Typically 5+ years of Senior Leadership experience at a director level. Impact/Scope:
Manage a function that supports business unit performance and implementation of the global functional/Finance strategy.
Typically partner with Managers, Directors and Heads (VP Level). Complexity:
Typically manage senior individual contributors and managers.
Work across multiple units business- or function-wide to deliver financial solutions.
