Verizon Wireless Wireless Real Estate Specialist in Bellevue, Washington


Work with management HQ/Territory/Sub-markets to determine deal points that must be included in agreements with tower companies, DAS providers, small cell providers, private landlords, jurisdictions, and utilities. Develop strategies with management that deliver win-win Master Lease Agreements for small cells. Deliver executed MLAs that meet the requirements set forth by management HQ/Area/regions. Work with developers and Cities to develop new small cell business needs as they develop.

  • Negotiate and execute Master Lease Agreements with municipalities, utilities, and other companies in the sub-market.

  • Negotiate, execute, and streamline the zoning and permitting process of small cells with the jurisdictions and municipalities.

  • Facilitate and lead community outreach programs to educate municipalities and neighborhoods of wireless facilities and small cells.

  • Manage small cell MLA vendors that assist with the research, initial contact, and supporting documents in the MLA process.

  • Meet with stake holders to determine requirements and specifications of agreements. Deliver executed MLAs that meet the requirements set forth by management HQ/Territory/Sub-markets.

  • Train RE Specialists and vendors with the MLA process along with the zoning/permitting requirements and process for each municipality and/or jurisdiction.

  • Provide support and justification needed to gain approval and execution from management.

  • Provide presentations to stake holders and management that explain the business terms and issues of agreements.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, executive leadership, clients and key contacts within other departments within Verizon Wireless and with outside vendors and customers.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experiencerequired

  • 5+ years of experience working with Tower Companies, DAS providers, site acquisition companies and negotiating contracts.

  • 5+ years of experience with network real estate processes and issues specific to large scale & volume projects as well as similar experience in external facing projects and negotiations.

  • 3+ years of experience in managing complex projects worth more than $1M.

  • Understanding of various wireless network technologies including switching, RF, transport and data.

  • Ability to originate, analyze, negotiate, structure, prepare, and present master agreements involving risk analysis.

  • Proven experience in identifying, developing and leveraging relationships with third-party commercial real estate owners, Government Agencies, Utilities,and Agents.

  • Prior leadership experience in a dynamic team environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of land use, right of way, and zoning policies and procedures.

  • Thorough understanding of real estate practices/law, business and financial terms/concepts.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and written skills required in order to effectively deal with governmental authorities, REIT’s, and realize competitive lease rates with property/asset owners.

  • Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks and multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to manage external professionals (site acquisition professionals, architects, engineers, land planners, attorneys other consultants) toward fulfillment of common network goals.

  • Knowledge of FCC and FAA regulations.
