Marketing Analyst/Operations Manager

The Supplies Business is a large contributor to the success of HP Inc., and the predictability of the Company results. We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Analytics and Insights team to support the Office Printing Solutions (OPS) and Home business units, developing revenue projections, analyzing the underlying drivers of those projections, and building the short term and long-term story line for the GBU management. This position requires excellent collaboration with the Supplies Drivers Team, Finance, Current Business Management, Product Management and Printer Business Units. Responsibilities include:

  • Utilize Laser and Ink driver quarterly models to construct driver models for the OPS and Home business units

  • Create and communicate insights to business unit management

  • Drive continuous improvement to predictability of forecasts, drivers

  • Create executive level narrative describing what is driving business performance

  • Work with big data team to transform driver-based revenue models to incorporate big data

  • Support planning processes: LTP, Interlock and Budget

  • Apply statistical models to Home and OPS driver models to provide a validation point for forecasts

  • Develop the method to measure the performance of the models

  • Work with team to develop tools to automate the compilation of Home and Ops drivers and facilitate analysis.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS in Statistics, Economics, Marketing R esearch or related Mathematics or Business degree

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree with research and statistical background preferred

  • 7+ years statistical analysis, project management and operational experience

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills

  • Strong excel and data analysis tool skills

  • Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills; ability to work across virtual teams

  • Excellent problem solving and change management skills

  • Ability to interface effectively with management team and functional disciplines

  • Excellent influencing and consensus-building and conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent execution skills
