Robert Half is working with a global public health consulting firm in search of a highly motivated and organized Grants and Contracts Accountant to join their team. This opportunity is great for someone looking to grow their career in a great company culture. Daily responsibilities of the Grants and Contracts Accountant include:
Maintenance of all contract and grants records and files
Production and distribution of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports
Preparation and submission of all project invoices as required by contract
Accounts receivable follow-up
Reconciliation of accounts to the General Ledger
Cross-training with other accounting staff

Requirements: The ideal Grants and Contracts Accountant will come with the following experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 3+ years' of experience
Strong administrative and communication skills
Ability to set and meet deadlines and provide audit trails
Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles a must
Proficiency in computerized environment - Costpoint a plus
Experience with federal, state, local or foundation grants and contracts preferred
