The focus of this Field Service Engineer role is to support the installation, ramp up and production phases for customers in the corrugated market for systems. The role will be key to understanding the service requirements in this new market and helping drive growth of HP business here. The role is intended for graduates who are starting in their career and will involve significant travel.

Expectations of the role include:

· Develop knowledge to be able to install presses.

  • Develop knowledge on the typical applications and workflows of corrugated customers.

  • Be able to independently perform break/fix activities on presses.

  • Transfer acquired knowledge to other HP colleagues and assist in new installations

across EMEA.

Requirements for the role are a degree (or equivalent) in an electromechanical engineering discipline and an interest to work in the Graphic Arts Industry.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred with some working knowledge in related fields desired.

Basic knowledge of HP products and services offerings.

Communicate effectively to technical level and first-level management within an organization.

Active listening skills and ability to adjust messages to audience level.

Problem-solving skills (proactive, reactive and creative based on clearly defined procedures.

Conceptual understanding of Information Technology (IT) environments.
