Johnson Security Bureau, Inc. (JSB) is seeking professional Armed Security/Driver for security assignments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor activity;

  • Drive company vehicle;

  • Pick up, delivery and secure packages and individuals;

  • Follow emergency contact protocol;

  • Update necessary paperwork and reports;

  • Follow S.O.P.

Available Shifts:

  • Full time 25 - 30 hrs a week (will vary)

  • Mornings

  • Must be able to work weekends and have a flexible schedule


  • Have at least three (3) years experience in security services, law enforcement or military;

  • Pass background check;

  • Pass drug test;

  • Pass gun qualification/proficiency exam;

  • Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality;

  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs;

  • Possess a valid Drivers License (clean record);

  • Possess a valid NYS armed security guard license;

  • Possess a valid NYS/NYC carry pistol license;

  • Computer skills;

  • Ability to drive cargo van;

  • And, be able to operate two-way radios and Nextel phones.


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).

  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
