The Director of Sales will be responsible for overseeing a team of managers and territory managers. In addition, the Director of Sales will drive increase sales productivity in each territory and establish successful sales initiatives within Canada and US.

Requirements: The primary responsibility of Director of Sales is to ensure consistent, profitable growth through planning, developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies. The individual will play a lead role in developing and implementing marketing initiatives in order to generate brand awareness and increase market share. The Director of Sales will be responsible for but not limited to: * Lead a cohesive sales team * Establish and maintain appropriate sales strategies * Maintain up to date knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends * Identify significant areas of opportunity * Lead, train and inspire all salespeople to ensure success * Coach and develop direct reports * Manage day-to-day performance of sales team and review KPI's on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis * Track sales team metrics * Meet pre-determined revenue goals through the activity of direct reports * Ensure sales team has adequate knowledge of products and key selling features through the creation of training and review processes * Ensure service issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner * Lead regular sales and operations planning meetings in conjunction with Marketing * Work closely with department to design promotional items The Ideal candidate sought for this full-time position will have a post-secondary degree and bring forward a minimum of 10+ years in a similar role. The successful candidate will have strong Sales and Account Management experience with the ability to manage both major accounts and team. The successful candidate will have strategic planning, process development, strong communication and problem solving skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of being dedicated to excellence and high integrity, and will be able to work well both independently and in a team environment.
