Aon Is Looking For A Business Development Professional for our Northeastern Territory. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our K&K; Business Development/Sales group, focused on the Sports, Leisure, and Entertainment sector, within Aon Affinity. This will be a virtual role but person must reside in the Northeast.

Your Impact As A Business Development Professional

Job Responsibilities:

  • Increase production from existing K&K; agents and brokers through visits and product updates

  • Target new agents and brokers and introduce company’s products/programs

  • Secure submissions (applications) from agents and brokers.

  • Review and submit to home office underwriters.

  • Assist home office underwriters with underwriting processes.

  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals

  • Deliver proposals to agents and brokers, answer questions, secure the business

  • Manage the agent/broker relationship after the sale and participate in the renewal process

  • Focus on personal sales targets and new business development

  • Participate in special projects such as new product launches and new marketing initiatives

  • Travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned region

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years P&C; experience

  • Valid P&C; license

  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry

  • Reside in the Northeast

  • Prior sales, prospecting, business development and relationship management experience required, preferably in the insurance industry

  • Working knowledge of P&C; insurance products

  • Experience with Microsoft office suite products (Word, Excel)

  • Strong presentation skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Life, Accident and Health products.

  • General understanding of exposure to risk within sports, leisure, and entertainment sector.

  • Knowledge of Sales Force a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Sales or Marketing preferred. Equivalent years of industry experience will be considered.
