  • Manages projects through initiation, prioritization, resource allocation, and development in conjunction with Lionel's operating practices and policies,

  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the Application Services Team in their use of technology to address business requirements: o NetSuite's complexities, features and functionalities o Project Management o Development and support time o Lionel's operating processes o Continual personal and professional growth

  • Adheres to all company and departmental policies

  • Leads the expansion of NetSuite knowledge with other departments

  • Contributes to the identification of strategic IT goals o Works closely with Department Heads to determine where technology can improve workflow

  • Manages entire project delivery life cycle covering all the aspects related to Requirements Analysis, Estimation, Resource Management, Schedule Management, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation

  • Integrates activities with business units and other IT departments to ensure the successful implementation and support of project efforts

  • Maintains and publishes up-to-date schedules and status reports of Team activities

  • Creates and maintains generated JavaScript customizations within NetSuite ERP. POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Four-year college degree in relevant discipline (MIS, IT business/computer science) or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of hands on experience with NetSuite administration and implementations

  • JavaScript development experience required

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification highly desired

  • Project Management certification (PMP) desired

  • Experienced in system customizations using SuiteScript (JavaScript), SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and/or SuiteBundler for NetSuite

  • Experienced integrating NetSuite with third party systems such as: Descartes (Ozlink), SPS Commerce, Avatax, MineralTree, Worldship, etc.

  • Experienced using forms, fields, custom records and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within NetSuite

  • Technical experience in understanding NetSuite capabilities, frameworks, and scripting.

  • Experience in training and providing client support within the NetSuite environment.

  • Experience in translating business requirements into user and functional requirements

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, with multiple clients and the pressures of managing to required timelines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Solid understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle.

  • Ability to develop enterprise guidelines and standards
