This role will be responsible to develop, deliver and manage innovative client strategies using Alternate Contact Channels. Utilize analytics and influencing skills to create customer focused segmentation and treatment strategies using predictive modeling techniques across multiple large national retail portfolios. Lead cross functional initiatives, standardization and simplification efforts, including leadership reviews for approvals and regulatory compliance. Works closely with Risk, Fraud, Finance and Marketing to deliver on financial goals and support both loss and expense improvement. Manage strategy execution and performance within established compliance rigor.
Alternate Channel Strategy Management: Lead, manage and drive alternate contact channel strategies. Optimization testing: Develop, optimize, implement and measure strategies leveraging statistical tools and quality management supporting both loss and expense improvements.
Drive Change: Lead relevant Alternate Channel strategy projects including consistency alignments, new channel strategies, process reviews and readiness and Channel optimization.
Compliance: Development & validation of strategy design including fair lending and legal reviews. Create process controls and monitoring plans to ensure compliance execution.
Collaboration: Partner with Risk, Finance, Marketing and IT to drive lifecycle strategies and customer attribute alignment.
Rigor: Responsible for delivering Strategic Business Process Reviews through dashboard management by gathering and speaking to portfolio performance, strategic vision, & results.
New Concept Testing: Incorporate new data elements, sources and channels to help promote efficient and effective strategies and customer contact references.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree, 7+ in Collections, Risk or Marketing Analytics.
3+ years experience in Collections, Risk or Marketing Analytics.
3+ years experience using SAS data tools.
Ability to travel as necessary (less than 10% of time).
5+ years experience in Financial Services industry.
3+ years demonstrated success developing and delivering advanced analytics.
3+ years experience using SAS or equivalent data tool such as Business Objects.
Strong background in successful communication with Senior Leadership teams in a clear, concise manner
Demonstrated ability to apply strategic thinking toward tactical execution
Strong PC proficiency (Microsoft Suite including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) or comparable software application.
Master's degree (Business or Science Related Field)
Green Belt or Black Belt Certified
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
If currently a Synchrony Financial Employee, you must have been in your current position for at least 6 months (Level 4 - 7) or 24 months (level 8 or greater), have at least a "consistently meets expectations" performance rating and have the approval of your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR to apply if you don't meet the time-in-job or performance requirement
