This role requires an individual who is professional and who displays the drive, determination, and self-motivation to meet the needs of our Programs operations. Specifically, your mission will be to service and maintain existing accounts while uncovering opportunities for increasing business.
Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues.
Be primary point of contact for all incoming service calls through a call center environment.
Process quotations, binders, certificates of insurance, new business, renewals, cancellations, endorsements, and first report of claims as needed.
Maintains complete and accurate files and inputs necessary data on the company’s agency management system.
Provides a high level of support to our Sales staff in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business.
May also be responsible for account rounding and the development of new business as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures
Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues. May also negotiate with underwriters and carriers. Troubleshoots claims and billing issues
Develops new business from existing accounts and contributes to meeting departmental production goals. Identifies and follows-up on cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.
Execute daily job responsibilities, particularly coding of claims presented to Trust Veterinarians.
Maintain service standards as outlined in the procedure manual.
Maintain confidentiality requirements regarding insurance coverage.
High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred
Hold Illinois producer license appropriate to the position or secure within 60 days and meet bonding requirements.
Superior customer service and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written English communications kills
Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
Ability to work in a positive team environment
Ability to work a regular, full-time work schedule at HUB’s facility(s) and ability to travel on business if required
