Vantiv Director, Program Management in Cincinnati, Ohio

Position Description:

This business program management position within Vantiv's Enterprise Delivery Office will manage and lead cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders in the delivery of complex enterprise strategic programs across Vantiv. The role will significantly communicate with senior executive leaders on a regular basis, and must possess strong facilitation, communication, influence negotiation skills in order to drive the company to deliver transformational change initiatives.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Superior relationship management, team building, executive interface, and leadership competencies, working in concert across cross-functional teams including business unit, executive management, finance, sales, marketing, product management, technology, operations, training, human resources, communications, legal/compliance, and risk management.

  • Drive program from vision/strategy into implementation through leadership of cross-functional team members and stakeholders

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects and work efforts simultaneously while delivering high quality work product throughout the life cycle of each project

  • Communicate project status across all levels of the organization, including Executive stakeholders and clients

  • Understand and effectively leverage best practice change management methods, tools and approaches to create an effective change plan to manage key change risks associated with deploying projects and deriving a return on investment

  • Track and manage critical program, financial and business metrics and success criteria throughout the program's duration

  • Partner with the Business/functional teams to ensure that the definition, documentation, measurement, maintenance and ownership of key business processes are clearly defined

  • Act as agent of change across the company to drive key change initiatives across the business to improve processes

  • Proactively identify and manage specific issues, risks, and conflicts and work with all stakeholders, for proper action and intervention

  • Define, establish & communicate a detailed project plan together with agreed timelines, identifying critical milestones, interdependencies and risks

  • Strategic and end-to-end process thinker, with proven experience in leading transformational change programs

  • Ability to distill complex problems and propose, communicate and drive solutions

Skill and Educational Requirements:

  • Mastery of Project Management capabilities for both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies

  • Experience with leading complex compliance and regulatory initiatives preferred

  • 16+ years of program management or equivalent experience with significant leadership accountabilities

  • Financial/business modeling and analysis skills

  • Proven experience in change management leading large, complex, transformational projects under challenging timelines

  • Proven track record of delivering measurable benefits to an organization, successfully executing to milestones and commitments

  • Highly experienced using MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Rally or equivalent Agile tools, and other standard applications

  • Minimum BA/BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree a plus

  • Project Management or equivalent certification(s) a plus

  • Knowledge of Payments or Financial Services industries a plus
