Position Description

Responsible for the execution of daily tasks associated with packaging pharmaceutical products, including but not limited to the set-up of equipment, the performance of packaging steps according to set work instructions, and the disassembly and cleaning of equipment. The employee shall also demonstrate the ability to understand and execute packaging directions presented in Standard Operating Procedures and Packaging Batch Records in compliance with a GMP environment.

Hiring for all shifts: 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm); 2nd Shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm); and 3rd Shift (10:00pm - 6:30am).

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • Performs packaging operations according to Batch Production Record specifications.

  • Accurately and clearly completes all required documentation related to batch documentation.

  • Assembles, disassembles and cleans equipment and process rooms according to SOP’s. Regularly completes tasks as assigned to meet production schedules.

  • Adherence to OSHA regulations, Company Policies and quality practices.

  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

  • Accomplishes basic operation of computer controlled equipment.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Understands the logical sequence of events and processes and its impact on products.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 35 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds assisted. Employee must be able to sit/stand regularly for long periods of time. The position requires extensive hand dexterity. Other requirements

  • include stooping and reaching to perform various job tasks.


  • 1 year of work experience

  • Written and verbal communication.

  • Must have basic mechanical aptitude.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to perform basic math functions


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
