Vantiv Level II Technology Support Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio

  • Support IBM mainframe batch environment as Level 2/3 subject matter expert for incident management including escalations from Level 1 support on batch job abends.

  • Create JCL or modify JCL if needed to address issues.

  • Work with teams to design/architecture plans and solution requirements, and deliver project capabilities.

  • Be part of teams that provide innovation and operational performance in the deployment of new functionality, services, and products.

  • Be part of teams that provide detailed design plans and solution requirements assessment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in driving operating and service excellence

  • Improve service delivery and provide recommendations for process improvement

  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

  • Ability to use 3rd party tool in area of expertise.

  • Receives detailed instruction on work assignments. Works collaboratively within the Engineering organization.

  • Take on small projects for improvements on a technical feature.
