Vantiv Level III Technology Support Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio
GENERAL FUNCTION: A Technology Engineer designs and supports the Vantiv File Transfer network. Design includes definition, configuration, testing and implementation of connections. Support is provided to all lines of business and for internal and external connections.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates detailed diagrams of connections based upon designs created by senior staff.
Designs, configures, tests and implements connections in a timely and efficient manner.
Troubleshoots and debugs connections to peers, customers, vendors and internal network connections.
Analyzes requested changes and performs maintenance to existing connection-related hardware and software. Works as part of a team with user and/or customer staff to determine project requirements, goals, implementation schedules, etc.

Associates degree or BS.
2-4 years relevant work experience.
Knowledge of Digital Certificates, understanding of TCP/IP, File Transmission protocols and encryptions like, FTP, FTPs, sFTP, PGP and AS2 would be helpful. Also knowledge with Sterling products Connect:Direct and Sterling's Gateway, Firewalls, F5s, NATs and UNIX environments would be beneficial.
Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
