Vantiv Oracle EBS Financial Systems Business Analyst in Cincinnati, Ohio

General Function:

Business Analyst provides on-going support of critical Oracle EBS Financial/Billing systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Self-motivated, results-oriented individual able to work in an fast past environment and experience delivering world-class service to internal customers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive functional technical knowledge of Oracle EBS, strong communication skills and has extensive background working within an IT organization.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work directly with an onshore/offshore IT support team responsible for operational performance of critical financial and corporate systems: Oracle EBS Solutions

  • Level 2/3 responsibly and LOB point of contact responsible for daily and month-end billing cycle process.

  • Continuously provide SME knowledge to promote the operational health and monitoring of production environments

  • Demonstrate ability to meet or exceed organizational KPI metrics for MTTR, Problem, Incident, Service Requests ticketing and quality assurance.

  • Support production escalations and manage issue through resolution to stabilize operational environment(s).

  • Perform L2/3 analysis and engage directly with IT organizations (including, Architecture, Development, Infrastructure and Database teams) to provide root cause, recommendations and resolution planning.

  • Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions.


  • 5-7 years total experience in IT with at least 3 years of Oracle EBS R12 and 11i systems.

  • Expertise in Oracle Applications 11i and R12 modules Finance Purchasing (PO), Accounts Payable(AP), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), iProcurement & Sourcing.

  • Hands on experience successfully supporting large Oracle EBS and ERP-related programs

  • Experience with Vertex highly desired

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of experience in IT support

  • Good understanding of Business flow and conversion of business process in to Oracle ERP functionalities.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot application issues in a complex production environment

  • Passion for recognizing and solving problems to deliver actionable business insights.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and team skills necessary to work well with onshore and offshore team members.
