Vantiv Principal HR Business Partner in Cincinnati, Ohio
We are hiring a Principal HR Business Partner to support our IT and Security groups.
Some Details About This Position:
We are looking for a strong HR Business Partner who has experience supporting IT, Technology and or Engineering teams in the past.
This Business Partner will focus more heavily on strategic organizational design and partnership with leadership to help build out a growing component of our company.
We would love someone who has a blend of Generalist experience and/or either organizational development or learning and development as a backbone of their HR abilities.
We are looking for someone who can easily build relationships and quickly develop trust with their lines of business.
While we would prefer for someone to be based out of our Cincinnati, Ohio location, we could also have someone work out of our Denver, Colorado. This position will require some travel to locations in Boston, Cincinnati, Denver and/or Phoenix from time to time.
To be a little more specific we are looking for someone who can:
Work closely with leadership in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level. Consults with employees and leaders to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change). Assists senior leadership in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving.
Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept/peer review). Fluent understanding of all HR functions, key business indicators and drivers for success. Strong knowledge of business, relationships and industry. Is creative and clever about how one uses his/her business acumen to build credibility with and impact the client. Respected for knowledge of business strategy and ability to create HR solutions that align. Viewed as a business partner first, a representative of HR second.
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Becomes involved in the decision making process. Develops hypothess about clients needs, problems and takes action. Effectively leverages relationship with client to sell HR solutions to business with the outcome of driving organization change, revenue generation and/or expense management. Knows when and how to confront an issue or push an unpopular position in pursuit of a broader solution. Strategically uses power and political relationships within the organization for positive impact.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
Requirements for this role include:
Must have experience supporting Technolgy/IT teams.
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
