The Security Compliance Analyst is responsible for internal information technology system audits and controls assessments. This person develops and implements an audit and control framework to monitor IT production environments for potential system integrity exposure and control weaknesses; Identifies various control weaknesses and failures to the organization and works with Security Risk Management to formulate recommendations for corrective action/mitigation of risk; Evaluates complex information systems and controls, including but not limited to applications, infrastructure, business control processes, change control management procedures, security, networks, and data center operations; Reports findings to management and communicates recommendations for corrective actions; Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors; Demonstrates sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
The Security Compliance Analyst has a basic understanding of financial industry laws, regulations, policies, risks, security standards, industry-best-practices, and threats related to physical and logical security; Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
This job is a fully qualified, career-oriented, entry to mid-level position in security.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, excellent organizational skills, has experience in audit or regulatory compliance, the ability to work minimal oversight, and will demonstrate a breadth of security knowledge. This is an individual contributor position, reporting to the Manager of Security Compliance.
Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or a Master's degree; or equivalent.
PMP, CIA, CPA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, GSEC, or CISSP preferred.
