Responsible for the daily direction of operators in a fast-paced Pharmaceutical Packaging environment in order to meet the company’s standards in production and quality.


  1. Coordinate materials and facility resources to achieve daily and weekly production goals.

  2. Responsible for the daily supervision of 20-50+ packaging employees and performing annual performance reviews for these direct reports.

  3. Fine-tune and troubleshoot all packaging equipment and ensure the timely review and delivery of production work orders.

  4. Initiate and manage process corrective investigations and material deviation reports.

  5. Oversee the correct and timely inspection, labeling, and packaging of all products.

  6. Furnish timely reporting of schedule attainment, equipment downtime, personnel constraints and material variances to management.

  7. Reinforcing Good Manufacturing Practices and adherence to SOPs, Batch Records, Safety Procedures, etc.


  1. Secondary responsibilities include supervision of Label Control and Housekeeping activities.

  2. Maintains appropriate relationship with co-workers



Bachelors Degree in a related field. Exposure to basic concepts of management and leadership in a corporate environment is preferred.


1-3 years of demonstrated experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Packaging or Quality Assurance environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrates basic mathematics and statistical analysis skills.

Ability to work within the metric system

Demonstrates ability to work with scanners and other inspection devices (i.e. label counters, analytical balances, etc.)

Knowledge of inventory control and labor tracking systems (i.e. SAP)

Ability to use a variety of computer programs, including document management systems, E-mail and Web browsers.
