Job ID: 21347Position Description:BASIC PURPOSE/SCOPEUnder direct supervision, this position is responsible for the consistentproduction of a high quality product in a Bread/Bun baking facility whileincorporating safety and sanitation standards.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESSupervises, trains, and coaches production associatesCoordinates, maintains and monitors production processes and procedures.Provide leadership and coaching to workforce in all aspects, includingsafety, cost controls, employee relations, sanitation and production.Implements Company and plant procedures and policies.Ensures that Product Quality is an absolute priorityUnderstands levels of scrap and rework in area caused by equipment issues andassociated points of cause.Review and input dough and wrap schedules into quality system to obtainoptimum shift productivity.Generate reports through quality system to measure daily production to plantgoals. Review production conformance reports to ensure associates are adheringto standard operating procedures.Coordinate schedules with sales and shipping departments and adjust ordersaccordingly to maintain a constant production flow.Drive quality improvement and process waste elimination through functional andshift team leadership.Report accurate counts to office staff for tracking labor, waste and damagedproduct on a daily basis.Executes, maintains records for all phases of production relative tosafety, food safety, key performance indicators, orders completion andpersonnel and/or labor related issues.Ensure production lines are adequately crewed with qualified associates tocomplete each scheduled order.Drive department compliance with established safety, GMP, and QCP trainingand ensure compliance with all company policies, plant rules and allregulatory agencies.Conduct routine safety and sanitation inspections to promote employee safetyand good housekeepingEnforces company policy pertaining to good manufacturing practices and safetystandards.Takes appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certificationof the SQF system.Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent foodsafety and food quality problems from occurring.Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food SafetyPlan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQFsystem and other 3rd party audits.Other duties as assignedPosition Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentSupervisory experience2-5 years experience in a fresh baked goods, bread or bun facility or in afresh food process manufacturing environmentWillingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidaysStrong communication and leadership skillsStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office application.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate againstany employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex,age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity,status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal,state or local protected class.VEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran ReferralsEOE -Veteran /Disabled/Minority/AA/F/M/SO
