Summer internship with HP Inc Advanced Development Laboratories in Corvallis Oregon. Work within HP Inc’s high tech analytical labs which is at the heart of HPI's print head and print platform blended development-manufacturing sites (thin film ASIC & MEMS circuits to plastic/adhesive/ink print module). Contribute to a talented team by applying your material science engineering or chemistry skill sets to solve technical problems pertaining to HPI print business products and developing technologies. Interact with cross-functional technical teams tasked with advancing printing technologies in graphics and office print markets. Failure analysis and specific analytical techniques (autopsy, spectroscopy, surface science, electrical, mechanical, thermal, chromatography, etc) are used to characterize product material structure, composition and properties to correlate to product performance and customer experience. Summarizing data into insightful analysis for communication, knowledge capture and sharing are also part of the role.
Education and Experience Required:
High School Degree 4th Year of University completed-typically a technical degree specialization or Masters/PhD students nearly complete with their program.
