Citizens Bank Issue Management Analyst in Cranston, Rhode Island
As a Vendor Assessment Issue Management Analyst at Citizens Bank, you will have senior engagement, great enterprise visibility, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team. We’ll rely on you to work collaboratively with our vendor population and internal stakeholders to facilitate third party issue remediation as a result of an array of assessments. Within the wider team, you’ll act both divisionally and cross-divisionally, reviewing material risks and concerns and contributing to a consolidated picture of business as usual. In addition, you’ll add value by addressing risk while leveraging findings and best practice on a group-wide scale.
Primary responsibilities include:
Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of third party vendor controls and information security programs
Building positive relationships with business partners
Translating security risks and communicating effectively to business partners within the organization
Preparing reports and gaining agreement closure of risk issues
Executing quality assurance reviews of peer work papers and reports
Applying experience in audit, security and regulatory frameworks including ISO 27001, GLBA, SOX, PCI, HIPPA, States Privacy Regulation and FFIEC
Experience and Skills:
3+ years of current experience in an IT Risk, Audit, Information Security or Assurance role, and an understanding of audit, security and risk
The ability to deal with high-level executives and highly technical subject matter experts
3+ years experience of gathering information from a range of different sources and in a number of different ways
Demonstrated advanced verbal and written communication skills
The ability to plan, organize and prioritize workloads
Experience of working as part of a team
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
Possession or actively pursuit of one of the following certifications – CISSP, CISA or CISM (preferred)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
