Posting Title: Sr. Deposit Products & Pricing Analyst

Job Description:

This position is a primary resource on a wide range of deposit management activities including deposit rates and pricing, forecasting, policy exceptions, market research and profitability. This position is also a primary technical resource within the organization regarding all aspects of deposit pricing.

Serves as a primary resource regarding deposit pricing and product management. Updates and assists with the development of product policies and pricing strategies, and presents recommendations to senior management for final approval.

Creates and provides reports and insight regarding fee income, deposit rates, business growth, profitability, sales results and market share to senior and executive management using a variety of internal and external information resources.

Utilizes expertise in financial, operational, customer and regulatory issues associated with the deposit business to assist with methodology development and financial models related to deposit products.

Prepares deposit campaign pro-forma analysis, participates in merger & acquisition due diligence, and supports other major initiatives and critical strategic decisions for the organization.

Assists with identifying market opportunities, and formulates tactical plans to implement initiatives to grow deposits in a cost-effective manner. Initiatives include branch sales campaigns, direct mail and digital marketing, analysis of new markets and opportunities for business growth.

Acts as a primary contact for deposit rate exception requests, and serves as the administrator of the deposit rate exception process and policy.

Assists with the budgeting and forecasting process for deposit products.

Job Requirements:

College degree or equivalent work experience required.

3-5 years relevant experience with deposit pricing and/or deposit product management.

Additional Job Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of deposit products, including asset and liability management, funds transfer pricing, marketing, product pricing, design and development. Expertise in financial modeling, projection, budget consolidation and analysis.

Superior written, verbal and presentation skills are needed to effectively make recommendations to senior management.

Expertise in a variety of technical software applications used in analysis and modeling. Experience with SAS, Business Objects, and/or SQL a plus.

Strong project management, analytical and research skills with a demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception through completion.

Innovation and flexibility are needed to meet the demands of an ever-changing market.
