Robert Half Management Resources is the senior consulting arm of Robert Half and currently has consulting opportunities for experienced Controllers in the Dayton area. The Controller manages the Accounting department to ensure that it is providing effective and efficient service to the operating groups and other customers, that employees are fully supported, and that the group improves its performance. The Controller is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting the performance and needs of all teams and groups within the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, Human Resources, and Operations etc. Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records for Executive Director, Development and Board of Directors Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc. when necessary Interface with outside audit firms(s), banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), credit card companies, and collection agencies Report to the Board of Directors when necessary in writing and verbally Other duties as necessary If interested in learning more about this Controller position or other consulting opportunities with Robert Half Management Resources, please email or call Resource Specialist Sean Whitford at or 513-621-4243.
