Vantiv Associate Change Manager in Denver, Colorado

The Associate Change Manager is a key role in supporting the ITIL Change Management processes utilized by Vantiv. As part of the Change Management team, you will be responsible for reviewing and guiding changes from a mixture of Agile and Waterfall teams. You will have a voice in enhancements to the process and revisions to existing processes and procedures. Although this position is based in Denver or Cincinnati, it will include supporting locations including Cincinnati(OH), Denver(CO), Lowell(MA), Chandler(AZ), Durango(CO), Louisville(KY) and offshore locations in India.


The Associate Change Manager is key to the day-to-day operation for Vantiv IT. The change management process allows the IT and Business to review and ask questions to mitigate the risk of proposed changes before deployment. Training and leadership skills are vital as new users need to understand the process and existing user training and guidance is needed to maintain compliance. Some of the duties required are as follows:

  • Daily review of changes for Risk, Impact and process adherence.

  • Weekly review of previously implemented changes for compliance.

  • Ad hoc process guidance and correction.

  • Create, update and deliver training on enhancements to the Change Management process.

  • Internal and External Audit support.

  • Interface with ancillary ITIL processes (Problem Management, Incident Management, etc.).

  • Backup for Enterprise Change Manager.

  • Secondary support for Emergency Changes.

  • Create CIB agenda and host meetings.

  • Perform other duties to support the Change Management team.

Position Requirements:

  • ITIL Certification (any version) or training.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.

  • Strong analytic / problem solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written and phone communication skills.

  • Technical troubleshooting experience.

Preferred Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Associates degree in computer science/information systems or 3 years equivalent work experience

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
