Position Overview and Responsibilities
Considering a career in integrated communications? If so, consider an internship at FleishmanHillard Detroit. We are looking for qualified candidates to work hand-in-hand with some of the very best professionals in the industry on both global and local brands.
We are looking for individuals who have excellent writing skills, are passionate about communications and eager to learn. The FleishmanHillard experience provides the opportunity to grow personally and professionally through exposure to client service and the inner workings of a global, integrated communications firm. Interns have the opportunity to be a part of the account staff teams and assist with traditional media campaigns, developing media materials, social media management, conducting research and other account-related activities.
Interns will support the following communications functions:
- Media Relations
- Community Relations
- Digital and Social Media
Qualified candidates will be college juniors, seniors or recent graduates with public relations, journalism, communication or related degrees who are available full time. Basic job requirements include excellent written and oral communications skills, an innate curiosity, and desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. All candidates must also be self-starters who exhibit a desire and motivation to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.
The internship is a paid, full-time position requiring a commitment of at least 12 weeks. College credit can also be earned through this internship.
Ideal candidates will have previous related experience.
