Kforce Data Analyst II in Duluth, Georgia

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst II in Duluth, GA. The Analyst, Item Master will interact with leaders within the Data Management Team, IT, and Operations as well as with external vendors. This role will manage the item master record set with JD Edwards.Essential Functions:

  • Manage the item master record set (1M items) and other related datasets that integrate with JD Edwards for purchasing and inventory management

  • Execute the item related data processes and procedures necessary for adding/editing/obsoleting items

  • Manage the item master mailbox in a timely manner to process received requests

  • Work closely with Plant/Mill Personnel, Category Managers, Purchasing Transaction Services (PTS) and other Stakeholders to accurately add/edit items in the material master

  • Resolution of item master data issues through research or Plant/Mill Personnel

  • Perform bulk load of items and resolve any issues from the upload

  • Track performance on defined SLAs for the team and communicate results to the P2P Excellence Team

  • Initiate IT system enhancements and process improvements as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of core data management experience (e.g., understanding of data dictionaries, enforcing data governance and standards, etc)

  • Experience with manufacturing, MRO parts, and inventory management preferred

  • Action and detail oriented, ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage large dataset

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (formulas, pivot tables, etc)

  • Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Access), and ability to write and execute queries (SQL, Access) is a plus

  • Working knowledge of J. D. Edwards ERP system preferred, but not required
