RCN Becocom LLC Ecommerce Analyst in Falls Church, Virginia
RCN is currently seeking an eCommerce Analyst to help us run and grow our affiliate program, eCommerce/web testing, reporting, analysis and support overall pricing/promotional management. As an eCommerce Analyst, you’ll help RCN broaden its presence in the marketplace and explore new opportunities for online distribution and optimization. You’ll use your excellent relationship-building skills to create and maintain relationships with our affiliates and provide them with support to ensure their success. The eCommerce Analyst will work closely with internal eCommerce, web, marketing, eCare and Telesales teams in a support, production, project management, reporting/analysis and implementation capacity. The eCommerce Analyst will possess a broad knowledge of eCommerce (ideally subscription based models), affiliate marketing, pivot tables/base statistical analysis and general online revenue program management.
Oversee the Affiliates Programs
Manage Telesales affiliate vendors end-to-end
Manage Online affiliates program end-to-end
Primary point of contact for all affiliate vendors & agencies
Oversee pricing, promotions and performance of multiple affiliates ensuring proper mix of affiliates types, fee levels and optimizing the holistic program for best ROI
Assist with supporting affiliate technology with both vendors and agencies
Run affiliate platform – reviewing all performance, reports and directing agencies accordingly
Seek out/Scan for new (niche) Affiliates
Manage administrative components of the programs – invoices/payments, brand violations, ad copy reviews, auditing, and other duties, as needed.
Deliver reporting/analytics/forecasts for multiple aspects of affiliate programs
Champion eCommerce Reportings & Analytics :
Translate stakeholders’ requirements into reporting deliverables
Assist eCom Sr. Manager with dashboard and report creation & delivery
Work across departments to refine and evolve overall ecommerce/web metrics reporting. Champion omnichannel reporting to ensure connection of telesales and web data points.
Deliver ad hoc reports & analysis. Look for trends and data insights to enhance revenue generation.
Leverage existing platforms for better reporting creation/delivery. Learn ORACLE Marketing platform to support internal clients on reporting insights.
Run (A/B and Multivariate) Testing Programs:
Devise and build monthly/quarterly/annual test plans for multiple online applications with an eye for: (1) UX optimization (2) conversion gains and (3) revenue growth.
Take in local market promotions, pricing and targeting to collaboratively create solid test plans over time.
Using Optimizely - configure campaigns, run tests, review results, make recommendations and provide reporting/analytics to appropriate stakeholders. Become ringmaster for all online testing plans.
Working with webmaster, ensure tests match from initial presentation to user/prospect through to landing page(s) and conversion. Test down to targeted profile level.
Support overall pricing/promotional positioning online:
Support Sr. Ecommerce Analyst in the management of pricing and promotions.
Support the publication and positioning of pricing across multiple internal applications, communicating with local markets to understand pricing priorities and positioning.
Review competitive pricing and positioning to understand markets’ stance within the marketplace monthly/quarterly.
Review test plans and historical pricing performance to understand best online promotional offers/positioning.
Support ecommerce campaigns, as needed – creative management, promotional review and loading, project management, reporting,
Bachelor's degree required.
1-3 years’ experience as an affiliate marketer, eCommerce analyst, reporting analyst, or digital strategist.
Experience or exposure to A/B and multivariate testing.
Experience with UX/web design, web optimization, eCommerce, digital marketing and affiliate marketing.
Expert/high proficiency with pivot tables, modeling/forecasting or advanced Excel skills.
Must be able to work within fast paced, innovative environment with a strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and multi-task.
Highly organized; time management and attention to detail a must.
Self-starter able to work well with individuals at all levels
Proven commitment and follow-through on projects.
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.
Strong sense of customer service. Experience in a marketing support role preferred.
Ability to successfully prospect, prioritize, and cold call affiliates and potential partners.
Excellent analytical skills and business acumen- ability to understand and interpret data, solve problems and distill data into actionable recommendations.
Experience in advertiser and/or affiliate management/client services for a performance marketing company or advertising network is a plus.
Experience with eCommerce and/or testing platforms a plus.
