ARES Corporation Vulnerability Assessment Team Manager (VATM) in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

The Vulnerability Assessment Team Manager (VATM) is responsible for coordinating with the government and manage assessments by providing technical advice and guidance to team members, preparing briefings, and providing technical inputs as required. The VATM is responsible for consolidating the final written report for delivery to the client. The VATM administrative support to include: trip planning, administrative support, classified material courier, logistics, equipment management, updating policies and procedures, and conducting required team training.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A current Top Secret Clearance, SCI Eligible
  • Experience working in a Secured Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environment.
  • Must have a fundamental familiarity/understanding and demonstrated work/field experience in practical application of vulnerability assessment fundamentals and principles
  • Experience in one of the following areas, or a combination of each; intelligence/strategic/planning/operations and an understanding of DoD strategic telecommunications, national level systems and architectures assets and platforms.
  • Ability to support multiple programs; demonstrated multi-tasking ability is essential.
  • Ability to establish and maintain suspense’s and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, with a specific ability to prepare power-point presentations, reports, and white papers.
  • Ability to prepare correspondence for senior leadership (military or civilian).
  • Experience handling and marking classified materials, experience with classified computer systems.
  • Experience preparing classified documents for final distribution outside working SCIF.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related technical or science field
  • Knowledge of CONUS/OCONUS civilian/military relations and government operations both foreign and domestic.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability-based assessments on military installations and facilites
