  • Formulates and presents ideas/proposals spanning the broad range of test and evaluation (T&E;) programs.
  • Incorporates statistical rigor into T&E; approaches and methodologies.
  • Identifies and explores T&E; data collection, data reduction, and data analysis problems resulting from the interaction of complex information technology (IT) and National Security System (NSS) operations.
  • Plans and develops Design of Experiments (DoE) approaches to isolate effects of interacting systems.
  • Reviews test results of proposed system implementations against identified IT/NSS requirements.

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.

Specialized experience is defined as; Experience in the application of statistical methods and operations research to the test and evaluation of global information technology (IT). Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education is not substitutable for specialized experience for this grade level.

Background or Security Investigation: The individual selected will be subject to an investigation in conjunction with granting of a security clearance prior to appointment.
