We currently have an opening for a Regional Channel Marketing Manager in the Southeast region. As a Channel Marketing Manager you will use your business acumen and experience to work closely with the North American channel sales team to create growth strategy and plans for the channel to meet the annual operating plan.
This position can be based in any Honeywell Southeast location, preferably in Fort Mill, SC. It requires up to 25% travel.
As a Channel Marketing Manager for the AIDC product portfolio, you will be responsible for developing, driving and implementing channel marketing activity for North America Channel Partners in your region.
Developing, executing and measuring channel marketing programs and promotions to pursue aggressive growth targets.
Managing the channel marketing budget to effectively market Honeywell products through partner Marketing Development Funds (MDF).
Working closely with all aspects of the business to gather product and channel insights.
Working closely with product and corporate marketing teams to support brand development.
Driving new product launches through the channel, supporting the efforts of pre and post launch activities, such as product requirements, alpha/beta processes, and ongoing marketing activities to ensure channel success.
Working closely with cross functional teams and sales teams to meet revenue and unit plan targets through the channel.
Interfacing closely with product managers, account managers, and reseller channel managers to understand product positioning and competitive landscape to strengthen market awareness through the channel.
Analyzing, calculating and reporting on business data, including sales revenue (and projections), channel program ROI, channel ASPs and product margins and new product launch success.
Working with all aspects of the business to create and measure effective programs and promotions for channel.
Working with corporate marketing teams and cross functional teams to execute communications to the channel including newsletters, webinars and bulletins and measure their effectiveness.
Ensuring Voice of Customer (VOC) excellence from the channel partners as required for marketing programs, promotions, product development, competitive intelligence, pricing etc.
Monitoring competitive activity within the channel and form strategic plans to increase market share.
Conducting and developing quarterly business reviews (QBR) with channel partners.
Creating systems and processes to streamline partner management.
Participation in the development of annual partner business plans alongside sales teams.
Overseeing day to day channel operations.
Visit customer sites and drive and execute regional channel events – 25% travel. Travel sometimes is outside of designated region.
A minimum of 3 years of work experience in channel marketing.
Experience with two tiered distribution strongly preferred.
Mastery of computer technology including Salesforce.com, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, presentation and organizational skills.
Strong commercial acumen, with ability to thrive in competitive and challenging environment.
A team player who is able to prioritize work independently, time management skills.
Ability to think critically and analyze data and write reports.
High level of integrity demonstrated.
Ability to influence and motivate colleagues.
