We provide security services at a manufacturing plant where health, safety and security is our #1 priority. This is a manufacturing/industrial environment with the corresponding levels of traffic (employees, visitors, suppliers, trucks, etc.) and a variety of large and small industrial machinery both static and moving with a high noise levels as a result.


  • Personally monitors either visually or electronically a variety of assigned buildings, areas, or grounds.

  • Permits only properly authorized individuals to enter the property.

  • Examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure.

  • Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, etc.

  • Warns violators of rule infractions and may apprehend or expel violators.

  • Notifies on site individuals of visitors wishing to see them.

  • Assists in properly responding to a variety of emergencies or disasters in order to preserve life and property.

  • May maintain a list of visitors or authorized companies/personnel who are allowed access to various areas.

  • May perform routine input or monitoring of safety and life support computer programs.

  • May permit authorized or properly badged persons and visitors to enter property.

  • May issue and record ID badges.

  • May check heating, lighting, sprinkling, security, ventilation, fire, etc., systems to make sure they are operational.

  • Other related duties may also be assigned.



  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, call-outs, etc.

  • A valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier is required.

  • First Aid Certifications; CPR, AED

  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

  • At least two (2) years of directly related experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is regularly required to see, hear and speak. Employee must be alert at all times. Depending on shift and work assignment, employee is regularly required to stand, walk and/or sit for extended periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee may be exposed to outside harsh weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment (manufacturing plant) is usually moderate. Incumbent must be able to work in less than ideal offices, facilities, or situations
