DESCRIPTION OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:50% Coordinate a broad array of ongoing communications projects and tools, primarily in support of the U. S. Region. Knowledge of market segmentation and customer profiling. May include print, digital, electronic, web and multimedia projects. Coordinate assignments from project development to copy to design to production. Obtain copy approvals for assigned projects. Develop and manage communications timeline for assigned projects. Responsible for coordinating the production of various individual communications projects, including 1) Interaction with internal creative services team and external vendors for project management, approvals, proofs and delivery; 2) coordination with in-house departments for the completion of various projects (i.e. mail fulfillment, etc.) Project manage assigned customer segmentation projects, i.e., customer-centricity iPad application projects working cross-functionally with creative services and marketing groups from various business internal customers, including global project. These projects require the associate to gather all requirements from internal clients and develop to spec and budget. Some activities include:o Write creative briefs based on input from product teams; participate/lead kickoff meetings with select stakeholders (account management + product teams); collaborate with GL writers, editors, proofreaders, designers, Java developers, etc. via account management for manuscript development, design and programming of apps; review manuscripts to ensure output is parallel to integrity of approved creative brief; coordinate review/copy approvals with respective marketing colleagues; responsible for asset gathering as needed (pictures, videos, animation, reference documents, etc.); where applicable, provide animation direction to designers; adhere to creative services policies and procedures; ensure strict adherence to approved templates, style, format and standards; responsible for all aspects of app lifecycle from creative brief through final delivery on portal. 25% Special event project management, including global living the brand roadshow involving multimedia aspects, associate engagement activities, etc. 15% Other duties as assigned including promotional project support for different BD platforms and provide support to Marketing Communications Program Manager on miscellaneous projects. 10% Other duties as assigned - Some events coordination and facilitation QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED-Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. Experience coordinating communications projects essential. Client-service oriented. Must be familiar with marketing benefits ladder, product positioning and attributes and be able to develop a content brief for varied product lines based on input from marketing team. Candidate should have knowledge of market segmentation and customer profiling. Candidate should understand creative services and production processes and have fluency with print collateral, as well as familiarity with Web and iPad application content development. ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED- Proficient in Outlook, WORD, Adobe Acrobat; PowerPoint, ExcelREQUIRED EDUCATION: BA Marketing, Communications or Business degree Minimum of three years business experience; medical technology industry a plus Excellent communication skills Should have knowledge of market segmentation and customer profiling Ability to manage a variety of assigned marketing communication projects Success in navigation cross-functional businesses must be able to collaborate with various work teams effectively to achieve results. Candidate should understand creative services and production processes and have fluency with print collateral, as well as familiarity with Web and iPad application content development. Well organized with good process management skills Demonstrated ability to organize work and establish priorities.
