Job Description

Provide overall coordination of brand and campaign division and VP, technical assistance and research, and implementation of various projects under minimal supervision and requiring significant use of own judgement and discernment. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

  • Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.

  • Perform complex and diverse administrative duties directly related to the achievement of department/division or program goals and strategies that involve high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information, necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgement.

  • Perform and coordinate key projects and liaise with internal and external contacts on project and information needs.

  • Read, review and analyze mail, prioritizing and delegating to staff as appropriate. Perform follow-up on action items as needed.

  • Perform research and prepare reports on highly confidential or technical issues for leadership. Prepare and/or edit internal and external reports, papers, and drafts as needed.

  • Maintain technical, confidential, and special project files in an organized, easy to use format.

  • Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, coordinate conferences, perform timekeeping functions, and make travel arrangements as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.

  • Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.

Required Experience:

  • High School/GED or equivalent.

  • Work experience in office administration or related field; 5- 8 years.

  • Work experience supporting high level staff preferred.
