Owens Corning Enterprise Environmental Administrative Associate in Granville, Ohio

Location: Granville, Ohio - United States PURPOSE OF THE JOB This position is responsible for providing administrative support in the Operations Sustainability and Enterprise Environmental Health & Safety organizations, with the primary responsibility of providing support to Enterprise Environmental Director at our location in Granville, OH. Responsibilities include supporting Enterprise Environmental to execute organizational objectives; establishing agendas and coordinating the details for such events as EHS Leadership meetings; coordinating and scheduling internal/external meetings with all levels of employees; initiating correspondence and responding to inquires; maintaining and updating reports, and managing some basic, ongoing projects requiring requisite analytical and software skills. Reports to : Enterprise Environmental Director QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications for this position include the ability to excel in a high-pressure, fast-paced and ever-changing work environment; strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; ability to initiate and embrace change, apply sound judgment and strict confidentiality; strong professional/technical/analytical skills; the aptitude to learn software rapidly and continuously improve office systems and processes; good understanding of OC organizations, culture and functional responsibilities; and the ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision and guidance. This assistant must be a self-starter, comfortable in initiating action and making decisions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide administrative assistance to the Environmental Director and staff as required. Ability to arrange onsite and offsite meetings and events with both external contacts and internal employees. Schedule any reoccurring Environmental Director meetings where coordination with other admins is needed Initiate the preparation for all Environmental Director meetings well in advance of the event. Assist with creation of the PowerPoint presentation slide deck for such events. Manage as required documentation and structure to support Management System requirements. EHS Assessments – finalize plant assessment reports (pdf version, add EHS Director electronic signatures, double check distribution list & titles); some SharePoint technical support Coordinate delivery of safety training materials and assisting with meeting logistics Hazard Recognition and Control (HRC) 1.0 HRC 2.0 Learning from Incidents (LFI) Manage on-line and instructor led safety environmental and operations sustainability training material located on the Owens Corning Learning Management System. Manage Environmental Sharepoint Sites including access. Coordinate with Environmental organization the maintenance of Environmental Non-Conformity (ENC) entries, and Environmental Permit Review (EPR) filing Maintain websites for the Environmental organization and teams; includes team site, reporting (spend & forecast) sites, standards, contacts, etc. Process invoices for Environmental organization; payment processes include both procurement card and purchase orders via SAP Assist Corporate Medial Director and ROHNs in review, classification and disposition of annual audiometric testing data. Manage and coordinate the medical record/x-ray management storage and retrieval process for regional nurses holding records in Granville Coordinate with ProMedica staff in Granville onsite clinic to ensure seamless integration of employee clinic services such as the international travel medicine program, local employee drug testing program, etc. Assist Corporate Health Services with corporate random and follow-up employee Drug Testing Program Ordering office supplies for the Granville onsite clinic and ProMedica staff JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : HS Diploma or Equivalent required -- Associate Degree desired A minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative experience; with specific experience supporting senior level leader or leaders Strong interpersonal and communication skills Working knowledge of customers and markets preferred Exceptional computer skills required (specifically in PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and other software included in the Microsoft Office Suite) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES : Communication Attention to Detail High Work Standards Initiative Decision Making Proactive in Planning and Organizing Teamwork Building Trust/Operating with Integrity Safety Awareness and Pro-activeness Technical/Professional Knowledge Customer Focus Interpersonal and Multicultural Sensitivity Computer Knowledge (MS Office & SAP) Adaptability #LI-KM2 About Owens Corning Owens Corning (NYSE: OC) develops, manufactures and markets insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composites.
