This position is responsible for helping customers, committing to a professional, team environment, and being able to process accurate and efficient sales transactions. This position will provide customer service by greeting and thanking customers as well as
responding to their requests.
Ensures that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
Answers or seeks answers to customer inquiries
Handles complaints or redirects them to management
Ensures customer have their needs met
Understands and meets the requirements, expectations and needs of both internal and external customers
Maintains accurate inventory count
Inspects merchandise and shows it to customer
Transfers knowledge about the product features and benefits to the customer
Obtains information from reference sources and supplies customer with needed information
Keeps current and knowledgeable on products and services
Maintain all merchandising standards, display presentation, signage standards and monitory inventory levels
Maintain adherence to all Company policies and procedures
Ensures compliance with organizational safety requirements
Calmly takes action in the fact of extreme circumstances using trained procedures
Requires schedule flexibility
May also bag, box, or wrap customer purchases
Assist in other areas of the store when business dictates
Assists transactions with customers
Restocks supplies around register area as needed
Other job duties as required by management
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic firearms knowledge

Able to move or lift up to 50 pounds
Light work: Light work involves lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Even though the weight lifted may be very little, a job is in this category when it requires a good deal of walking
or standing, or when it involves sitting most of the time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls. To be considered capable of performing a full or wide range of light work, you must have the ability to do substantially all of these activities.
