The OHIO Replacement C5I Platform Integration team is responsible for the successful intergration of government furnished and shipbuilder developed command and control systems with the OHIO Replacement Platform.
Opportunities are available in the areas of systems engineering and Integration. Candidates will support ongoing systems and component engineering efforts to conceptualize, develop, verify, deploy and maintain an open architecture platform design.
Candidates will also be required to:
Analyze, develop, and review requirements and verification plans for systems and platform development
Support development and maintenance of platform-level architecture concepts and systems engineering activities including trade studies that require multi-discipline integration to identify solutions which optimize the design based on normal, casualty and maintenance operations, construction cost and schedule, life cycle cost, and all applicable technical and programmatic requirements.
Provide concept-to-production engineering support for various electrical and electronic hardware components.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent is required. A Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent is desirable.
A demonstrated ability to lead multi-discipline, cross functional teams with design-build-sustain activities as part of engineering, design, planning, test or modular construction is preferred.
Zero to Four years of experience required.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong inter-personal, organizational and communication skills to successfully drive to achieve the program goals. Demonstrated experience developing innovative solutions to complex problems is highly desirable. Beneficial skills include technical facilitation, project management, earned value management, and familiarity with current design tools and processes.
