As an Assistant Cluster Manager, you will will assist with the development and maintenance of Operational Procedures, in order to ensure that site specific operations and post orders are always up to date, accurate and available to all security staff. They will be responsible for the scheduling of the Cluster, as well as reconciling any timecard anomalies. In addition, they will assist the Cluster Manager in issuing any coaching, counseling, and/or disciplinary actions, while coordinating and conducting any site-specific training, including annual refresher trainings.

Role Responsibility:

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of operational procedures so that accurate/up to date, site-specific operations and post orders are always available for emergency reference by the security staff
  • Manage/Create the Schedules for the Cluster
  • Assist the Cluster Manager in the development of all staff in both technical and professional skills
  • Assist the Cluster Manager in issuing any coaching, counseling and/or disciplinary actions
  • Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific on the job training, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel
  • Develop and maintain standalone and collaborative retention programs
  • Assure communication of policies, company announcements
  • Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists
  • Manage Remedy Tickets to ensure information is correct and status is updated
  • Attend Management and Customer meetings to improve Client Relationships as well as Operational Performance
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
  • Assist with performance reviews of Staff
  • Oversee and Administer Site specific training records, ensuring 100% compliance and accuracy, at all times act as the Interim Cluster Manager, in their absence

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Officer License issued by the State of California
  • Must possess a Valid California Driver License
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, certification in each of the following:
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • First Aid
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a challenging supervisory role
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in process improvement, productivity, or program development

  • Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • May not be former or current employees of the client
  • May not have immediate family employed with the client
  • May not concurrently be assigned to any other company or organization at any time during the Term of the respective Work Order that may compete with our client's business
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
